Botanical Provisions for Peers & Publicans!

03/07/2017

If we were in a competition for ‘top banana’ against all of the other floral scallywags, then these lovely venues would certainly give us their vote. We are as proud as punch to be the dedicated and recommended purveyors of lovely stuff to our friends at four of the best venues in the East Midlands: Stapleford Park, Langar Hall, The Chequers at Woolsthorpe and The Carriage Hall at Plumtree.

The stately luxury of Stapleford Park would not be complete without the kind of floral ornament and artistic display that you expect at such an imposing location. Achieving ‘pomp’ without pretence is paramount to what we do here in the floral wonderland. We create and deliver everything from their event centrepieces to the everyday essentials; albeit their ‘everyday essentials’ are a little larger than the average glass cube arrangement. Drop in before any big event at Stapleford and you are certain to see a greater spotted flower fairy or two dangling from a floral archway or swinging from a chandelier in order to get the place looking perfect! Have a look at our Facebook page for our most recent events.

Cartland class with stimulating stamen and a lust for living is what’s called for by the Châtelaine of Langar Hall. Blousy blooms and wild, tumbling boughs create the seemingly effortless elegance that only this darling exudes. Spend a night here and you’ll be daydreaming that you are in Rutshire with the great, the good and the ever-so naughty characters created by Jilly Cooper. Whether it is a wedding or just the weekend, we love working with Lila, Grace & Lisa at Langar Hall and being able to help bring out the beautiful features of this building with nature’s most beautiful sprays.  Did you spot our Game of Thrones inspired archway in their main dining room? See it here.

Bringing the best bounty from the British countryside into the relaxed atmosphere at the Chequers helps us to create a cosy dining experience for customers from near and far. As well as country fayre and local ales, the Chequers has a dedicated function area that plays host to private parties, weddings, christenings and every life-affirming occasion in between. We are always on hand to swoop in like fairy godmothers, dusting floral magic on Jo & Mandy’s festivals and functions from family gatherings to the infamously prosecco-fuelled milestone birthday bash. And with views of Belvoir Castle from their garden, this place is not to be missed!

The Carriage Hall at Plumtree is a perfect venue for the smart, bright young things of the East Midlands to celebrate. What’s more, we know the venue inside out and how to get the best blooms and bridal backdrops for every Carriage customer’s special day. Our relationship with Mel & the girls at The Carriage Hall means that your day with go more smoothly than a seal going down a slide in silk pyjamas!

Those are not the only places that you might have seen our floral flittering either. We love working at some of the most statuesque and historically beguiling buildings in the area including Belvoir Castle, the palatial Prestwold Hall and The Crown Inn at Old Dalby. What lucky toads we are to be able to dress the halls and fireplaces of these local landmarks!

If you have a venue that needs dressing for a special event or if you haven’t the time to bring the outdoors in to your home, we offer dressing and arranging services for palaces and pavilions so please give us a tinkle to discuss how the preferred supplier to publicans & peers alike can work for you.

If that doesn’t tickle your anther then tune in next week for more floral forecasts for the beautiful and botanical Vale of Belvoir and beyond…
