Never normal, always marvellous & very, very beautiful…
Sophie’s Flower Company was established in 2011 by Sophie Cullumbine. Having always had an enormous passion for flowers and a keen eye for creativity, Sophie brings something unique to the table. Her fresh approach to all things floral means two pieces are never the same and extraordinary comes as standard. Sophie has worked with high profile clients, fiddled her flower stuff at Wimbledon 2013 and has been recognised as a Best New Business and Young Entrepreneur as well as a finalist at the Rural Business Awards 2015. Sophie was a guest speaker at WedCraft 2013 and holds flower classes several times a year.
We are really rather keen on keeping our community sustainable and our planet clean so wherever we can, we use local suppliers and local produce. Now understandably this can’t apply for all our products (it’s quite difficult to find Birds of Paradise growing in the Vale of Belvoir) however if it’s not local, then it is grown in England or we’ll offer an alternative! If we really can’t get British grown, then we will always ensure they are Fair Trade and ethically produced.
We try to use recyclable wrapping, or recycled materials such as newspaper or reclaimed lace wherever possible, although we’re still trying to discover a waterproof, paper based cellophane!
